Group Altitude Training Class

Who is it for?

As part of our membership we offer a group training session in the facilities on-site heated altitude cardio chamber which is designed to complement your Jiu Jitsu training and improve your cardiovascular fitness and performance on and off the mats.

When is it?

Every Saturday from 12pm.

What happens in the class?

This instructor-led cardio class is monitored using Polar heart rate technology to ensure participants are training efficiently and safely. Within the heated altitude chamber the oxygen content is mechanically lowered to 16.5% to simulate the training effect one might experience at high altitudes. Members will perform the class on various state-of-the-art equipment including Keizer bikes, treadmills, airbikes, and rowers, all designed to maximize your cardiovascular benefits in the unique environment.

With the emphasis on individualized pacing and heart rate zones, there’s no minimum fitness requirement to participate. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or someone just starting their fitness journey, the combination of altitude training and heart rate monitoring will provide an effective and tailored workout experience.

What do I need to wear?

Comfortable workout attire that allows for free movement. Think breathable shirts and shorts or leggings, along with supportive athletic shoes.

What do I need to bring?

All participants will be provided with a heart rate monitoring strap as part of the membership. Still, always remember to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Post-Training Recovery:

To conclude each session, participants will have the unique opportunity to recover in our chilled “Oxywise” recovery chamber. This specialized chamber promotes optimal recovery by raising the oxygen content in the room to over 40%, allowing you to wind down and rejuvenate post-workout.
